Memories book project
http://memories.subism.co.uk is an amazing art book project for the cancer charity Maggie's, and has been set up over the last year by Designers Against Human Rights Abuse (DAHRA), Subism, OneTenEleven Media and editor Garrick Webster, the proceeds from the sales of Memories will go to the charity Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres. One of my illustrations accompanies a story called After the Storm. There are 12 stories and 144 artworks included in the book.

Manchester Artists Book Fair
Next door to our exhibition... on Saturday 6th November, we'll be at the Manchester Artists Book Fair.
On show will be 40 stands of hand-made journals, hand-printed and bound editions, altered books, zines and prints, from artists and small publishers from the North West and around the UK.
The book fair takes place at The Holden Gallery, Manchester School of Art, Cavendish Street, All Saints, Manchester. M15 6BR.
Doors open 10.00am until 6.00pm. Entrance is free.

A new edition from Bracketpress...
We are pleased to announce the publication of the third collection of poetry, prose and illustrations by renowned record producer and musician Youth. Written over the past few months the main recurring theme is community: "Now more than ever, where we live increasingly in isolated and virtual worlds afraid of the unknown. Where fear rules and we are taught that stranger means danger. Where we are conditioned to distraction through the hollow promises of marketing bourgeoisie via consumerism and entertainment. Community becomes even more relevant and still more important. This is where we can share, help and learn from each other. Where we can regain our personal sovereignty and re-discover our divinity and humanity."
